In terms of estimation, we can come up with a rough number though. We think that there are about 2 trillion (2,000,000,000,000) galaxies in the Universe, and each of these has an average of around 200 billion (200,000,000,000) stars. This means that we can guess that there are probably 400,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 (that’s 4 followed by 23 zeroes) stars in the Universe.
