      It depends on how quiet or active the Sun is! The Sun goes through an 11 year cycle rather fittingly called the Solar Cycle. It goes from quiet to active then back to quiet again – currently we’re in the quiet stage! During this quiet stage, we’d expect to see about one explosion a week, but when the Sun is at its most active, we’d expect to see about 3 to 5 a day!
