      It depends what you’d call a scientist! I think that anyone who questions why something happens is a scientist. But officially, I’d call myself a qualified scientist since I finished studying Physics at University – so I’ve been a proper scientist for 3 years now!

      I agree with Emma, anyone can be a scientist! I did my first “big” research project 5 years ago, and I started research full time 3 years ago.

      I am a PhD student (studying to become Dr. Boulderstone) and I started this about 4 years ago.

      If I count the years after my PhD, I’d say 10 years

      I started my current job 4 years ago, but I started my first try at a PhD back in 2004. I quite that one, did other things for a few years, and then had another go in 2011.
