Hmmm, I’m not sure I quite understand this question. But I do some other outreach activities to get people excited in space. This summer I’m setting a space based project for 6 year 12 students.
EDIT: Ah, I’ve just realised you also asked Nicolas, I think he might have a better answer than me!
Its hard to say exactly how many people right now, but very soon other people around the UK are going to start using the project I work on to teach visually impaired people who live in their part of the country. They’ll be able to tel us how many people they work with and they’re also going to help us collect some data on how we can make the project even better.
By giving lots of talks, running classes and going to science festivals over the last three years, we’ve met over 5000 people, though only some of that number are visually impaired.
