just using our eyes, we can only see around 5000 stars, but using telescopes, we can see many more. We think that there are around 2 trillion (2 followed by 12 zeroes) galaxies in the Universe, and each of these galaxies has roughly 200 billion (2 followed by 11 zeroes) stars. This means that there are probably around 4 followed by 23 zeroes stars in the whole Universe).
