Going into a smaller black hole would be a much more unpleasant experience than falling into a supermassive black hole – but I wouldn’t recommend either!

Going into a smaller black hole, the tidal forces your body would experience would be extremely strong. If you go in feet first, your feet will experience a much stronger gravitational pull than your head, stretching you into a human spaghetti, a process we actually call spaghettification! Eventually you’d be stretched until you break down into atoms, as gravity continues to pull you towards the singularity.

A supermassive black hole would probably be slightly less painful because the event horizon is further from the centre of the black hole, so spaghettification would happen later. As you fall into the black hole, time will seem to tick normally to you, but from an outsider’s perspective, you’d be falling extremely slowly due to the strong gravitational fields causing time dilation. Eventually you’d be spaghettified and join the singularity at the centre of the black hole, but you’ll be alive for a bit longer to enjoy the trip!

You forget where you parked when you got out 🙂
But I prefer the answer by Laurence
