I think Laurence is best suited to answering this question, I don’t do any work with Multi Messenger Astronomy, sorry!

It can be the best of both worlds, but sometimes it feels like there’s too much to know! When you’re doing multi-messenger astronomy, it means you use several of what we call messengers. Messengers are just a type of signal you get from space. Gravitational waves are one type of messenger, and electromagnetic waves another. They’re the two I use, but you can also use things like neutrinos.
