My favourite planet is Earth! It’s the only planet we know of with life (so far), and it looks so amazing from space – not just the blue seas, and the land and the clouds, but astronauts on board the International Space Station can also see the Aurora (Northern Lights)!
I love Neptune. I did a little project on its largest moon, Triton. It revolves around Neptune the wrong way! I love that it’s so mysterious and there’s so much to learn and it occasionally gets new moons from the Kuiper Belt which could help us learn about asteroids.
I really like Neptune. Its a fantastic shade of blue (so blue even I can see it), plus it has its own set of rings (like Saturn’s, but smaller) and some really interesting moons.
Apart from Earth, I think Venus is the most interesting planet! At the moment it’s super hot, and has a very heavy atmosphere, with lots of acid in it! This makes it hard to send spacecraft there to land on it and find out more about it. In the past, we think it might have had liquid water on the surface, possibly for billions of years!
